These are trekking trips with hikes in easy terrain with occasionally somewhat more demanding sections of the path. On the daily stages, a maximum of 1,000 meters in altitude are covered in up to 6 hours. A good physical condition is necessary.

   SHORT INFORMATION

  • Group size       : 2  - 12 people

  • Travel time          : 12 days
  • Overnight stay in tents     : 6 nights
  • Overnight hotel accommodation  : 5 nights

  • Hotel accommodation in a double room or 2-person tent according to the program

  • Equipment on the mountain: provided tents including dining tent and foam mat (approx. 5 cm thick)

  • Accompanying team and luggage transport on the mountain tours

  • Load transport of equipment on the Ararat by horses (max 15 kg per person)  

  • Obtaining the permit number for the special Ararat visa, local and state fees + summit permits for Ararat and Cilo mountains  

  • Local German or English speaking mountain guide

Turkey is above all Anatolia with its mountainous landscapes and its almost deserted expanses. And Turkey is above all the people with their hospitality. On this trip to the southeast and east of Turkey, Ceven Travel would like to bring you closer to the history and culture, the mountain landscape and the people of this region. Still little developed by today's tourism, Eastern Turkey is still unknown territory. Whereby the prejudices of “wild Kurdistan” can now only be applied to the landscape. Program changes

On this trip, despite careful preparation, changes to the program due to unforeseeable events must be expected.
