These are trekking trips with hikes in easy terrain with occasionally somewhat more demanding sections of the path. On the daily stages, a maximum of 1,000 meters in altitude are covered in up to 6 hours. A good physical condition is necessary.

Brief description​ :

TREKKING & CLIMBING THE MT. KACKAR

The Pontic Mountains extend parallel to the Turkish Black Sea coast. The eastern part of the mountain range, the wild Kackar massif, with glaciers and numerous cirque lakes is particularly beautiful. The mountains are covered in dense deciduous and coniferous forests up to an altitude of 1,800 m; the Nordmann fir, which is popular as a Christmas tree, comes from here. 
White flowering rhododendrons shine on other areas. The high alpine pastures are rich in flowers, yellow crocuses and the beautiful, also yellow flowering Pontic Turkic League grow on the alpine meadows. A modest alpine farming community with sheep and cattle as well as beekeeping is practiced here. In the forest areas, harmless bears and wolves live in the high alpine pastures of the Caucasian chamois, Caspian king chicken, black grouse and bearded vulture. For some years now, this magnificent mountain forest has been gaining more and more importance in international mountain tourism in summer. The goal of our trekking tour is the almost 4000 m high summit of Kackar, one of the highest mountains in Turkey and the highest mountain in the Black Sea region.
