10 Day Mt. Süphan - Ararat Tour
Kaugelt selgelt nähtav Ararati mägi, üks võimsamaid vulkaanilisi massiive maailmas, tõuseb fööniksina tuhast üle Ida-Anatoolia madaliku. "Suur Ararat" on Türgi kõrgeim mägi (5165 m), mida eraldab "Väikesest Araratist" (3896 m) vaid sadul. Istanbuli kaudu jõuate Vani, mis on teie reisi alguspunkt. Pärast paadisõitu tohutul Vani järvel Akdamari saarele alustate kaunite tutvustavate mägimatkadega Süphan Dagi (4058 m) juurde. See loob teile Ararati mäe jaoks õige meeleolu. Meeldiv kõrvalmõju on optimaalne kõrguse reguleerimine. Seejärel sõitke Dogubayziti, mis on Ararati mäele ronimise alguspunkt. Müütilise mäe jalamil Elis alustate 5-päevast tõusu (sh aklimatiseerumispäeva) Ararati mäe tippu. Rada viib kurdi nomaadidest, alpiniitudest ja üle kaljuteede tippkohtumiseni. Teel püstitatakse 2 telklaagrit (ca 3200 m ja ca 4200 m). Kuna Araratil on lumehari, kasutatakse krampe umbes 4900 m kõrguselt, kuid selleks pole vaja teadmisi. Riigi kõrgeimast punktist avaneb ainulaadne vaade üle Türgi madaliku Armeeniale ja Iraanile. Laskumine kulgeb mööda tõusuteed Eli külla. Ekskursiooni lõpus külastatakse Ishak Pasha paleed ja kohta, kus Noa laev leiti. Puudub absoluutne tõend selle kohta, kas laev sattus siia pärast veeuputust või mitte, ja igaüks võib vabalt oma kujutlusvõimet kasutada.
